I wish to thank all the staff at A&E for attending so promptly to my 93 year old mother, who attended with severe burns. She was treated promptly with great care and sensitivity and went over and beyond the reason we were there by directing and advising for aftercare and general care in her home. Thanks again to the nurses who dressed and cared for the burn and Ava in OT who attended her and gave great advice.

Anna ,St Luke's Ward, The Hermitage - most pleasant Polish nurse who was just amazing for the duration of my stay. I shared a room with three other ladies and we couldn't praise her highly enough. She was so nurturing, compassionate and really eased all of our worries. Anna was so genuine and really a credit to the hospital. Thank you so much for your level of care Anna. I hate needles and Anna was careful and gentle every time. It made the experience so much easier for me. Ronnie was another member of staff who really stood out on St Luke's ward. Very warm and personable. Made my arrival so smooth and alleviated all my worries. Exactly what you need before undergoing surgery. Thank you.

Dr Mohammed Muktar, anaesthetic consultant. Went to great lengths to reassure me going into anaesthesia. Also very thorough in his assessment of the range of my neck movement. Full of good humour.

If I could offer an award it would go to Paul Breen Physiotherapy Dept., Outpatients Connolly Hospital for the outstanding manner in which he performed his duty. He showed great motivation and his sheer encouragement proves him worthy of a great Physiotherapist and a great asset to this department, not to mention a gentleman who will go a long way in the future.
