A young female doctor Aoibhinn. Spotted in less than a minute the cause of a problem that has caused me years of pain and illness, and carried out a simple, slightly uncomfortable procedure there and then, that has massively improved my health since.

Dr. M. Tubassam and his team in the cardiology dept. Also the nurses in ICU and other wards. I needed urgent life saving surgery which I received and the whole procedure was explained to me afterwards. I was visited each day by the team and my progress was carefully assessed.

I cannot remember all the names, but there wasn't one nurse in the maternity ward that didn't go above and beyond to help. I had an emergency section and opted to breastfeed and if it wasn't for all of the help and advice I got, I would have been lost..Amazing women!! Even the fabulous dinner ladies made my day, and I just want them all to know how thankful and appreciative I am, for the 5 days I was there, they made it easy for me.

Nurse are fab. So sorry I'm not able to name them. They work so hard and are so busy, yet they take time for the little things, like putting up the head rest on your bed. Bless our Irish nursed xx.

The radiologist was absolutely lovely, warm, caring and kind. I cannot remember her name only that she was Australian. If she looks after all the patients like she looked after me, they are very lucky.

I think the nurse was Marie on the surgical day ward. Due to complications I had to stay over night and she kept checking on me every 20-30 minutes and at 2am she had to inset a catheter and she continued to check me at regular intervals throughout the night and came to check how I was and say goodbye after her shift next morning.

Nurses were very rude and told me in an aggressive manner to go sit back down. They told me I had eaten a full bowl of cereal in the morning. At this stage, it was 2pm and I'd had 2 spoons of cereal at 6am. Not the best hospital experiences I think, and in the middle of talking to me, the nurse would go to the other nurse to have a chat.
