Dr Michael in Accident and Emergency - without your kindness, compassion and commitment to our son we no doubt would have been facing a rather different outcome. We are so thankful for your gentleness and willingness to operate when necessary, for our sons quick treatment and for all the aftercare and advise you so kindly offered.

All of the staff in the Children's Heart Ward, we will never forget or be able to express out thanks to how they looked after us and our baby girl. Also nurses in ICU were equally as incredible.

Dr Jans Mileton - only for him questioning a murmur, my daughter may not have been with us now. Dr Orla Franklin - has always been so professional and supportive, an exceptional cardiologist who diagnosed her with the heart condition and got her into heart center immediately. Brendan O'Hare - our anaesthetist who took the time to come and talk to us before the operation and look after our precious daughter so well. Prof Mark Redmond. Thank you for doing the surgery so promptly and being very understanding and explaining everything about surgery. The nurses at heart center - they all do an amazing job and are always friendly and supportive to parents. Can't thank them enough. PICU 1 - these nurses are angels.

Dr. Jane Pear. My teenage son was with her last February, thankfully all turned out well, but we were very worried to begin with. I absolutely can not praise the woman enough. She was thorough, explained everything to my son in a way that was very calm and caring and in a way that didn't scare him. She was truly born to be a doctor. Absolutely one of the nicest, kindest, truly professional people I have ever met. I think my son came away a little bit in love!

Dr Fergal Quinn and his secretary and team, amazing work by all of them, and excellent communications skills. Called back when promised by the secretary with response from Dr Quinn. I was extremely pleasantly surprised I must say. My child attends many departments in the hospital and I have to say this is certainly the best run.
